The Manor Town House is conveniently located in the centre of Fishguard. With a cornflower blue facade this Georgian Grade 2 listed house, built almost 300 years ago, was as name suggests, the original manor house of the town. Step through the door and you will see how the outside belies the spacious interior of this lovingly restored historic building, but step a little further and the jewel in the crown is without doubt the breathtaking and award-winning, sea views from the back.
Decorated with an interior designers’ eye and a taste for the classic mix of old and new, the 6 guests bedrooms and 3 reception areas are thoughtfully put together with guests in mind. Comfortable beds and luxurious bedding receive frequent 5 star reviews. Bedrooms, all ensuite, are for two, some also have room for 3, or alternatively for private group bookings - overall the house has space for up to 15.
The reception areas are home to a small eclectic library and modest Honesty Bar. There is a selection of wines curated by Tanners wine merchants, Champagne, spirits and a few craft beers from very close by. While being encouraged to relax and unwind is the norm, we know that some guests can’t avoid work completely. If remote working and Zoom calls are the plan, we will make sure that you have anything you may need to set up your home office by the sea.
